Terrazas Library

In an effort to promote the Terrazas Library branch of the Austin Public Library system, I developed a new visual identity from the ground up - including a custom wordmark and a variety of promotional materials.

While Terrazas offers many of the same resources as other branches, like reading events, a vibrant children’s area, and computer/internet access, it faces unique challenges. Due to its location and the large unhoused population it serves, the branch is often overlooked by the broader community, with many generally preferring other APL branches.

This project aimed to bridge that gap by using design as a tool to foster inclusivity and strengthen community ties. The rebrand emphasizes accessibility, warmth, and neighborhood pride, while also incorporating educational elements to raise awareness about homelessness in Austin.
